Moitree  Green Tea is manufactured in Assam since 2016 . Assam is famous for its tea quality. The organic tea processed by us contains no pesticides or insecticides which are extremely harmful for a human body. The tea is produced without relying on chemical fertilizers instead we use cow dung as fertilizer and cow urine as insect repellent. Neem trees are planted too for shade and to keep insects away. The most common ingredient we use to make a best mixture of traditional insecticide are Cow Urine, leaf of Karanji tree ( Pongamia Pinnata) ,leaf of Nirgandi (Vite Negundu) , Neem leaf (Azadirachat Indica) and Bhlongoni (Cyclosorus Etensa) . In addition we use Bhoot Jolokia  (Ghost Chilli ) and Ginger-Garlic paste mixed with water are sprayed on the plantations as an effective insecticide and also to supply vitamins for the good growth of the tea plants and leaves.

Every bud/ leaf is picked by hand and are used to produce green tea by boiling, rolling and drying the traditional way.

Green tea is the best refreshment with so much good in it to start the day with. It is a great beverage to include in the diet for prevention of heart disease , high cholesterol levels, tooth decay and many more. It effects on almost every organ in the human body, the antioxidants help to prevent toxins that build up from unnecessary oxygen.

Green Tea Making Process

The process of making Green Tea starting from plucking of the leaves is a little lengthy. Green tea leaves are picked by hand after every 3 to 4 days , only one bud two leaves from the tea plant are plucked. 1. After plucking the leaves its dipped in hot water, for 1-2 mins. Likewise, the leaves also gets cleaned that way. Green Tea loose leaf 2. Immediately after taking the leaves out from hot water, its placed under the fan to dry the leaves for 6 hours. 3. Then the next step rolling starts, the leaves are rolled for 40 mins to an hour. 4.  After that the leaves are kept in a oven to dry , at 60 to 70 degree temperature and  the time depends on how many kilos of tea leaves are kept in it. 5. The last step is packaging of the green tea leaves and the validity stays for a year.
